What happened?

Since its acquisition of Team Dodge back in 2020, the store has navigated through a tremendous amount of adversity. 

A new inventory shortage, a hail storm that damaged nearly every vehicle on their lot, and finding creative ways to source used inventory while the used car supply was at historic lows. 

With the new opening of their new location in February of 2023, Wischnewsky CDJR has seen continued growth leading to consecutive all-time high sales records… 

For consecutive months.

Since purchasing Team Dodge, Wischnewsky CDJR hasn’t just conquered challenges—they obliterated them.

Wischnewsky CDJR caught the attention from the factory.  They set their sights on opening a brand new store, just down the road. 

This had always been the ultimate plan for Josh Wischnewsky. 

After years of planning and preparation, finding the perfect location, and designing the ideal layout, construction broke ground in 2022. 

The store officially opened in February of 2023. Among the internal team, the Wischnkewsy CDJR location found the nickname the “Taj Mahal”.

To ensure success and continued growth for the new storefront, Fountain Forward & Wischnewsky CDJR discussed the objectives and sales targets for the new location in Q4 of 2022. 

By the time the new storefront opened, every marketing and advertising resource had already been studied, measured, and allocated for YEARS since taking over Team Dodge. 

Since opening the new location, Wischnewsky was able to effectively increase their new & used inventories, which set them up for success early in 2023. 

With relentless drive, aggressive pricing, and a badass sales team, Wischnewsky CDJR has set consecutive sales records and continues to take market share, in a bad ass new building. 

But before we get into the results, do you know what wasn’t in the plan? 

A HAILSTORM.

Weeks before moving to the new lot, hail damaged nearly every unit of inventory on the lot. 

With determination to move these units, and move them fast, the store came up with some aggressive offers that were picked up by Fountain Forward’s Automotive Accelerator. 

Wischnewsky was able to sell nearly all of the hail-damaged inventory by the time the store opened.

RESULTS

  1. Sales surged to consecutive record highs upon opening the store. 
    • Average of 206 units within the first two months, Wischnewsky sales were up 43.55% year over year.  
  2. Wischnewsky’s competitors felt the heat.

      • Wischnewsky’s market share increased by 24.47% compared to 2022.
